Salaried GP Required, Ennis, Co.Clare

Exciting opportunity for a Salaried GP to join an established practice in Ennis, in the Republic of Ireland.

This role is ideally suited to a General Practitioner working in primary care/family medicine, that is keen to relocate to the Republic of Ireland. The practice operates as a part of a group which can support you through the registration and relocation into Ireland.

UK/Irish GP is equivalent to International Family Medicine Physician.

In order to be suitable for this role, you will need to be registered on the MRCGP (UK) or MRCGP (INT) with training in family medicine or the equivalent. You will have access to guidance through finding accommodation and becoming registered to practise in Ireland on the IMC. Additionally, if you are already based in the UK or Ireland, you are free to work without a visa.

This practice is based in Ennis, County Clare which is a scenic location in the western part of the country, packed with historical sites and outdoor activities.

You will be working in a cohesive team including other GPs, Nurses and a supportive Practice Manager. You will also have access to bespoke training which is regularly updated, and a full clinical induction when you start.

The role is for up to 10 sessions/5 days per week and the salary will depend on the type of IMC registration you obtain (General reg or Specialist reg).

Key Duties

• Up to 10 sessions per week
• Salaried / Associate GP role
• Providing family medicine / primary care to children and adults
• Examining, diagnosing and treating chronic and general conditions
• Socrates computer system
• Fully computerised practice
• 15 minute appointments
• 14 patients per session
• Mix of telephone, face to face and possibly some home visits

Package and Benefits

• €125,000 - €130,000 per annum
• €12,500 - €13,000 per session depending on registration type
• Full clinical induction and ongoing training
• Pension contributions
• 6 weeks annual leave
• CPD allocation (pro rata)

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• MRCGP UK or International / INT
• Family Medicine qualification and training (2+ years)
• Currently practising as a GP/Family Medicine Physician
