Please read on to discover more about a small and very well run surgery in the Gillingham area seeking a 4 to 8 session Salaried GP to join their team.
The GP's benefit from a very well managed workload resulting in a healthy work life balance. On average a GP would undertake 14 calls in the morning and 10 call in the afternoon with slots free at the end of each session for messages etc. There would be support on offer for development and they have previously been a training practice so would be open to exploring this again for anyone with an interest in teaching and training. The surgery has excellent QOF scores and a Good CQC report.
Key Duties
- Seeking Salaried GP
- 4 to 8 Sessions a week, ideally on Wednesday/Friday but they are flexible
- Flexible session start and finish times
- Well managed workload of 14 AM and 10 PM calls per session
- Very low home visits
- Use EMIS Web
- GMS Contract
- Existing team of Partners, Salaried GP's and long term locums
- Clinical support staff including Practice Nurse and HCA plus Physio, Phlebotomist and Mental Health Nurse shared with the PCN
- Very capable and skilled admin team who filter out much of the admin
- List size of circa 5,000
- Support on offer for developing interest areas and opportunity to run specialist clinics
- Open to supporting someone becoming a trainer if desired
- Weekly staff meetings
- Near Perfect QOF score
- CQC rated Good across all areas
