Prescribing Clinical Pharmacist Job, Nelson, Lancashire

Prospect Health are recruiting an independent prescribing pharmacist to work in a dynamic and forward-thinking GP practice in Nelson, Lancashire.
In this role you will have the opportunity to utilise and further develop your skills in the following areas, but not limited to:

• medicines optimisation
• medicines management
• improving patient safety
• medication reviews
• clinical audits
  
  

This role requires you to have an appreciation of the nature of GPs and general practice having gained experience of working within primary care. You must also have an appreciation of the nature of primary care prescribing, concepts of rational prescribing and strategies for improving prescribing.


Key Duties

• Full time role
• Excellent surgery facilities

• Working semi autonomously as part of the clinical care team

• EMIS Web practice software
  
  

Package and Benefits

• Depending on experience salary range £38,000 -£45,000 p.a
• NHS Pension enrolment
  
  

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• Qualified Pharmacist registered with the GPHC
• Possess the right to work in the UK
• Currently holds independent prescribing qualification
• Experience of working within general practice
