8 session Salaried GP, Aylesbury Area, Up to £80,000 FTE Plus Indemnity Cover

Please read on to discover more about an excellent surgery in the Aylesbury area seeking to bring in a new Lead GP to join a strong and stable existing team. One or 2 sessions a week would be dedicated to management with the rest of the week clinical. The practice benefits from a strong clinical support team meaning the workload is very well managed for the GPs. There is also excellent clerical support available meaning the admin side of things is well looked after for the GPs. There would be opportunities to develop interest areas and go on to run special clinics. The surgery already offers a wide range of additional services. There is flexibility on working arrangements as well as session start and finish times to ensure a healthy work life balance.

Key information

• Full time 8 sessions a week role
• Purpose built practice building with on site parking
• Practice population circa 7,000
• Friendly, cohesive and multi disciplinary existing team
• Options to develop interest areas and run special clinics
• Already running clinics such as minor surgery
• Highly trained clinical support team including practice based pharmacists and paramedics
• Circa 14 face to face and 4 telephone consultations per session (pre covid)
• Low demand for visits, majority of visits undertaken by the ANP
• Flexible working arrangements in terms of session times
• Weekly clinical meeting; teaching and training sessions; Safeguarding and BLS provided in house
• Half day per month practice closure for CPD / Protected Learning Time
• Practice uses Emis Web and Doc man
• Near perfect QOF score and Good CQC report
