Background
We are currently recruiting a salaried GP for a well-respected training practice in Bolton. The practice is continually expanding due to its high regard within the community and is excellent in its CQC and QOF rating. The surgery has put a lot of work into developing a triage system designed to reduce unnecessary appointments to GPs, thereby freeing up time to spend on more relevant patients. Appointment numbers are very reasonable, and the home visit ratio is very low.

Your role

• Up to 8 sessions per week, although PT considered
• You will work in a fully kitted out consultation room
• Very reasonable patient numbers; circa 30 face to face per day
• Low home visit ratio
• Very effective triage system; designed to reduce GP workload
• Weekly meetings; lots of contact with your colleagues
• Newly Qualified GP considered
