The practice is open to either a Salaried GP or a Partner GP, as long as you are someone who gets on well with others and can see the value in personal lists.

Salary - £9,500 - £10,000 per session + Indemnity insurance paid + 6 weeks' annual leave + Bank holidays + NHS Pensions

Drawings - circa £120K FTE


Location - Southampton. The practice has great road connections and being just off the motorway is 20 minutes from Winchester


The surgery -

• Purpose-built
• Teaching practice & approved for GP Retainers
• Young, mixed patient base
• Weekly educational meetings and audit
• Strong clinical team - all permanent GPs
• Working to personal lists
• Other staff travel from: Winchester, Portsmouth, Twyford
• High QOF achieving
• Emis Web computer system

Your role -

• Salaried GP or Partner GP
• 4 - 6 sessions
• Variable number of appointments based on person list - between 5 - 15 (max) appts per session
• Average number of appts per session circa 10 - 12
• Virtually no home visits (practice has community matron)
• To be part of an excellent team
