Then maybe working for the North West London Out of Hours Care UK team is for you.

We have permanent, bank or self-employed opportunities for ANPs on a full or part time basis within our out of hours service that serves Ealing, Brent, Harrow. As we are an OOH service, we are looking for ANPs who can work evenings, overnights and weekends. Our shifts are varied and range from as little as 2 hours up to 12 hours.

The OOH service is open from 6.30pm – 8am Monday – Friday, and 24 hours over the weekends.

Our mixed workforce of ANPs and GPs see, treat and discharge patients presenting with minor illnesses via telephone triage, face-to-face appointments and home visits from our bases in Hillingdon, Harrow, Northwick Park and Southall. We can offer the flexibility of working in the base closest to you.

The Requirements

Essential:
•Be an NMC Registered General Nurse
•Be an Independent Nurse Prescriber
•Have evidence of continuous Professional Development
•Have a postgraduate ANP qualification or equivalent
•Have post registration experience of working in Primary Care; GP Practices, WICs, UCCs, OOHs or ED.

Desirable:
•Be able to see, treat and discharge patients from 0 years old
•Have a knowledge of local primary care services
•Have a full complete understanding of the medico-legal aspects of the role
•Have basic IT skills
