Be the doctor you want to be (and more)

Care UK is the country’s largest independent provider of NHS services — which means we have a constant need for the best and brightest medical talent.

We are working with the current healthcare provider towards a seamless transition to Care UK in June and to ensure the continued quality of care we are looking to recruit a number of additional individuals to support this service

With us, GPs have the opportunity to develop their skills across a whole range of areas — in everything from walk in centres, GP practices, SARCs, urgent care centres, out of hours GP services to offender health.

It doesn’t matter if you’re a GP who’s looking to broaden their clinical experience or looking for more flexible hours. We can give you the freedom and variety to develop a more fulfilling career.

We have exciting opportunities for GP’s either on a self-employed or PAYE basis, to work within one of our services across Gloucestershire including Cheltenham, Stroud, Cinderford, Moreton-on-Marsh and Cirencester.

Our flexible hours can be built around your existing NHS commitment and home life. What’s more, we do more of the administration — leaving you to focus on what you do best: look after your patients.

Whatever your interests, we’ll make sure that your skills are kept completely up to date with a CPD and registration programme. It’s an environment where there are always opportunities to innovate and learn.

What's on offer?

A competitive salary is offered and a generous company benefits package, including indemnity costs. We are also able to offer Self-Employed contracts for these particular roles.

Should you wish you can also have access to work within Care UK's wider clinical services, ranging from OOH, Urgent Care Centres and Prison Healthcare.
