Step into Medical Leadership with Care UK

We are now recruiting for a Lead GP to be responsible for our Brighton Station Healthcare Centre, a high QOF achieving GP Practice and Walk-In-Centre, at the heart of Brighton.

Run by Care UK, this is a family-friendly NHS doctor’s surgery providing the community of Brighton and Hove with treatment and advice for a range of minor illnesses and injuries, long term conditions and sexual health concerns. We also provide the usual range of primary care services including immunisations, minor surgery and women’s health. The service is open every day of the week from 8am-8pm, including Bank Holidays.

This role presents an excellent opportunity for a qualified GP who would like to test themselves in management.  As part of Care UK, we can provide you with the support and the tools to grow into the role and offer you the chance to develop and diversify your career.

As the Lead GP, you will be responsible for supporting the Lead Nurse and Service Manager, by leading in clinical effectiveness activities and supporting the individual GPs within the Service.

You will provide a specialist resource to the unit for support on achieving maximum QOF scores and implementing quality improvements and service redesign.

In addition, you will be responsible for identifying and championing best practice, through benchmarking, evidence based practice and implementation of clinical guidelines.

The role is a permanent part-time opportunity, working 16-24 hours per week.  This comes with a generous salary of £105,000 per annum pro rata, with additional reimbursement of indemnity costs and other benefits.
