ARRS GP

Background

We are recruiting for a fixed-term Salaried GP under the new ARRS funding, for a particularly forward-thinking PCN in Leicestershire. The contract will be fixed until the 31^st March, though extension into a longer-term role is possible for the right candidate if funding is confirmed beyond this point.

An incredibly innovative PCN, with passionate colleagues involved locally in Federations and the ICB. Development is actively encouraged, and you’ll be supported in the pursuit of specialist interests and involvement with local services and allied health organisations. The Practices within the PCN are very organised, so workflow is efficient and patient numbers are very realistic. You will be working alongside an experienced MDT, including ANPs, Physios, Pharmacists and Podiatrists.

Unlike other PCN roles, you will be based in one Practice and have the supervision of a GP Trainer/Partner. There will be no home visits and no duty doctor, either.

Salary

• £9,900 per session + Indemnity + NHS Pension + BMA contract

Your role

• 4 - 8 sessions per week
• Maximum workload of 28 patients per day – mix of f2f & telephone
• 15-minute appointments
• Weekly CPD
• No duty doctor system
• EMIS clinical system
• ARRS PCN GP – must be within 2 years of CCT, and not have worked a substantive post before
• You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and registered with the GMC and UK performers list.
