Join a UK GP who owns this clinic in British Columbia; ultra-modern medical clinic with confidential offices and exam rooms;  GP offices with large windows;  office hours are 8am-4pm daily with an hour off for lunch when the clinic is physically closed and phones are shut off; and very nice staff!  Everyone’s goal is to have a good work-life balance where you leave the clinic every day by 4PM or 5PM. You will earn good money, up to $560,000 CAD (£310,000) gross income annually.   This medical clinic owner and his wife moved from Yorkshire and fell in love with this highly desirable city in the interior of BC, which is a year round playground!   You can count on this doctor to make your transition to Canada go smoothly.

Unlike the UK, you will experience autonomy in your scheduling, patients who appreciate you and a collaborative environment.  No home visits, no hospital or nursing home visits and no on-call. You can design your own practice to explore your special interests. For example, if you have an interest in cardiology, we can reach out to our cardiology colleagues and recruit patients. The location is a very nice city of 25 neighbourhoods in Kamloops, BC.  The cost of living is a fraction of Greater Vancouver. You can purchase a nice 2100 square foot, four bedroom, two bath single family home on a lovely 8,000 square foot property for $725,000 CAD (£400,000).
