Job Details



Associate/Salaried GP 6-8 sessions available per week, Carlow, County Carlow, Republic of Ireland, 15 min appointments, €140,000-150,000 FTE.

Please read on if you wish to work as a Salaried / Associate GP in a long-established and highly-successful practice in Co. Carlow. Working alongside an excellent team of GPs and Nurses you will enjoy brilliant practice structure enabling you to deliver quality patient care to the local community. Please read on for further details.


Key Duties
  • 6-8 sessions per week available
  • Av. 14 patient consultations per session
  • Dedicated admin time in each session
  • Socrates practice software
  • Dynamic and stable team of GP and Nurses
  • Very low house visits



Package and Benefits
  • Salary circa €140,000-150,000 (based on full time) depending on skillset and experience
  • Employee pension scheme
  • Permanent contract
  • Indemnity cover provision
  • 6 weeks annual leave (pro-rata)



Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements
  • You must hold either two years of GP experience or the equivalent Family Medicine qualification
  • Experience in Primary Care
  • Good level of English (IELTS may be required)
  • Applications from UK, EU and Non-EU doctors may be considered if you hold correct qualifications
  • Support with IMC registration may be discussed if not already registered as a General Practitioner with IMC
  • Ideally hold MICGP or MRCGP(UK) status
