Salaried GP

Here we have an opportunity for a Salaried GP to join a forward-thinking practice with a close-knit, happy team in one of Reading's surrounding villages. Offering a fixed number of patient contacts per day, flexibility around length of appointments, superb admin staff and a great duty setup, this is the perfect role for someone who wants to help make a difference to a local community and be part of a passionate, friendly team!

Salary - £10,000 - £11,500 per session + NHS pension + 6 weeks annual leave + 1 week study leave

Location - Outskirts of Reading

The surgery

• In one of Reading's surrounding villages
• Mixed demographic, ranging from young families to the elderly
• Multi-disciplined team, including Practice Nurses, Paramedic Practitioners and more
• Very low number of home visits, only really for end of life
• Highly organised admin team, including secretaries who deal with GP's letters
• High QOF achievers and CQC Good across the board
• Supportive of specialist interests and career development

Your role -

• Salaried GP, 4 - 8 sessions per week
• Flexible as to which days of the week you work
• Dedicated admin time for each session
• Capped at 30 patient contacts per day
• Mixture of telephone and face-to-face appointments
• Deliver exceptional levels of care to all patients
• Chance to pursue specialist interests
• 30-minute coffee break every morning session with whole team
