Locum GP

Background –

A great opportunity to work in Cumbria for a valued led, innovative group of practices. You will be part of an organisation developing sustainable, fully integrated primary care who continually strive to not only to deliver the best care to patients but to also provide a caring, supportive team environment for GPs to thrive in their career. Opportunity for a locum GP to work across a number of sites in Carlisle.

Salary – £700 – 850 per day

Location – North Cumbria

The surgery -

• Approx 16,000 patient population
• Developing sustainable healthcare in primary care
• Staff to include nurses, patients and manager representatives

Your role –

• Locum GP
• 12-14 patients per session
• 15-minute appointments
• A mix of ad-hoc sessions and long-term bookings
• August/September start

The benefits –

• Offering regular work as well as ad-hoc sessions
• Longer term work for up to 6 sessions a week
• Great support team within the practices included a team of 6 nurses and 20 admin support staff
• Opportunity to take on full workload including Duty rota for a higher pay rate or to offer clinical sessions and self-generated admin only.
