5-6 sessions Salaried GP, east Colchester (semi rural practice) circa £88,000 FTE, long-established, successful practice

An exciting new opportunity for you to work as a Salaried GP in a successful, patient-centred GP surgery just east of Colchester (circa 25 mins from the centre) is now available. The practice is well-organised and offers excellent patient continuity, grounded in a traditional family medicine approach. Being part of the practice team will allow you to enjoy working in a friendly environment allowing you to get to know your patients and deliver excellent patient outcomes.

Key Duties
  • 5-6 sessions a week available
  • Av 15 patient contacts per session (2/3 of contacts are face to face)
  • Engaging, friendly patients
  • Traditional family medicine approach with chance to get to know your patients
  • Well organised practice
  • Excellent clinical support team including ANPs, Nurses and Pharmacists
  • EMIS Web practice software
  • Very low home visits
  • Very stable, friendly and cohesive team


Package and Benefits
  • Circa £10,000-£11,000 per session, per annum depending on skillset and experience
  • NHS Indemnity cover
  • NHS Pension


Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements
  • Registered GP with the GMC, possess the right to work in the UK, included on NHS performers list
