Clinical Lead GP

An exciting opportunity for a Clinical Lead GP to join a forward-thinking practice with a close-knit, happy team and a lovely patient demographic. The practice is highly supportive of career progression and development and highlights their forward-thinking attitude by utilising new technologies and encouraging development opportunities for staff at the practice. It maintains this forward-thinking approach whilst remaining traditional, still holding on to the patient-first approach that they have had for so long.


This practice is best suited to a GP with 5+ years' post-CCT experience, who is looking for career progression and to establish themselves within a Practice. There may be future opportunity for Partnership, too.


Salary - £11,000+ per session + NHS pension + 6 weeks annual leave + 1 week study leave


Location - Cardiff (Central)


The surgery

• Young patient demographic, leaning towards deprived
• MDT including a permanent Practice Nurse
• Highly organised admin team, including secretaries who deal with GP's letters
• Always looking to develop and progress as a practice
• Supportive of specialist interests

Your role -

• 6-10 sessions per week
• Dedicated admin time for each session
• Mixture of telephone and face-to-face appointments
• Up to 15 patient contacts per session
• Flexibility around when you do any admin
