Salaried GP Vacancy, Leighton Buzzard

Excellent opportunity in a multi site training practice that are now seeking a Salaried GP for either a part time or full time commitment. Located 5 miles north of Aylesbury, this is a semi rural location offering a traditional, family practice set up.

What the job involves

This is a high performing and well regarded practice that operates over a small number of sites. Located just 5 miles outside of Aylesbury, you would be based in one site but have some requirements to work across in another location which is less than 10 miles away, to assist with holiday cover etc.

The practice is a training practice with a strong clinical team which is GP Partner led. The GPs are supported by a full complement of Practice Nurses, ANPs, Paramedic and other MDT members. There is also a strong administrative team that deal with non-clinical issues.

The workload is very manageable, with a total of 16 patients per session, primarily telephone based. Home visits are low and they are evenly divided between all GPs, and the clinical system is EMIS.

As this is a training practice, there is support available for a recently qualified GP seeking a stable and supportive opportunity. There are other options available including a Partnership which the practice would be delighted to discuss in more detail.

• 4-8 sessions available

• Rare home visits
• Good CQC
• Training practice with strong links to the PCN and nearest universities
• Duty Dr allocated on a rota basis
• Regular clinical meetings for GPs and Nursing team
