Salaried GP

Background -

This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the most popular, forward-thinking Training Practices in the area. The practice has a great reputation and is fantastically led by a Managing Partner who has over 20 years' tenure in their role.
Following a growth in list size, they are now keen to recruit 1-2 additional Salaried GPs working anything from 4 sessions up to full-time.
15-minute appointments and no Duty Doctor requirement stand out as two particularly attractive features of this practice.
Applications from newly qualifying GPs and GPs requiring Tier 2 visa sponsorship are both very welcome.


Salary - £10,900 per session plus indemnity


Location - Swindon


The surgery -

• GP Training Practice with three Trainers
• Suburban location, nice area
• Very little deprivation
• Geared towards reducing GP workload
  • Home visiting service
  • Of circa 100 letters per GP per day, just 6 or so actually go to a GP now
  • Triage nurses to minimise GP triage requirement
• Very good staff retention, particularly GPs - they are a popular practice
• Very involved in the local area

Your role -

• 4 or more sessions, full-time available
• 15-minute appointments, circa 80% F2F
  • Just 26 patients per day
• Very sociable practice with regular team and clinical meetings
• No Duty Doctor requirement
• Minimal home visits - home visiting service conducts the vast majority
• Flexible start and finish times
