Digital / Remote GP

Background -

Organised, team-orientated GP Training practice that communicate well together and ensure no one becomes overburdened which has in turn resulted in very strong staff retention. Strong management in place who have embraced the unique nature of working in their part of North Somerset, resulting in phenomenal patient feedback.
Large team of permanent clinicians rather than having to rely on Locums.
Looking to support their existing team and reduce some of the pre-booked telephone call burden with the addition of a Remote/Digital GP working 2-4 sessions per week.

Salary - £9,500 - £10,000 per session per annum + 6 weeks annual leave + 1 week study leave + NHS pension

Location - home-based (practice based in North Somerset)

• Strong nursing support team including Nurse Practitioners, minor illness specialist, chronic disease specialists and Mental Health Nurse
• Strong management with background in both business & NHS

Your role -

• Remote GP
• 2-4 sessions
• 15 pre-booked telephone calls per session
• Buddy system for any patients needing F2F that slip through the net (triaging and care navigation will keep this to a minimum)
• Helping with script signing and paths/bloods
• Interacting with the wider practice team - very keen for the Remote GP to feel like part of the practice
