Fantastic practice offering a Salaried GP role in Bedford. The practice operates over one site which is effectively managed and holds a Good CQC. Flexible number of sessions available, from 4 to 8.

The practice is based in a residential part of Bedford from just one site which provides care to just under 10,000 patients. There is a mainly working age patient demographic and support from the PCN staff meaning you will have very few, if any, home visits.

Supported through the PCN, you will have access to further training opportunities and clinical development in future. There is scope for the site to become a training practice so this would be perfect for a GP Trainer or someone with ambitions to get on the scheme. Alternatively, as the practice is well connected to the network, it will be suitable for someone with less experience.

The practice has a Good CQC and is well managed, you will benefit from very manageable workloads and a contract that reflects the BMA recommendations including 1 CPD session pro rata. This means that there is a maximum of 9 sessions per week (8 clinical, 1 CPD).

There are also opportunities for a more Leadership based role, which is suitable for GPs of all levels. This can be discussed further with the practice, which would be delighted to have you for a visit and chat.

Package and Benefits

• £10,000 per session
• Full time equivalent of £90,000 (8 clinical, 1 CPD session)
• 6 weeks annual leave
• 1 CPD session per week pro rata
• BMA model contract
