Excellent opportunity for a Paramedic in Slough to join a successful primary care practice.

This is a full time position.

The practice, located in a few locations across Slough, are seeking an experienced Paramedic to join their large clinical team. The practice cares for over 20,000 patients across its sites, and you will be expected to work in more than one site. The team are very supportive, this is a well established training practice, and there may be offers for development in future.

The practice itself is long standing and consistently performs well in its QOF, CQC and patient feedback alike. As their paramedic, you will be primarily assisting with acute presentations and home visits under the supervision of the GP team. The role would ideally be suited to someone who has worked within a practice setting previously.

The locations have parking and are easily reached by public transport and car. There is a very skilled clinical team to work alongside, which is GP Partner led. There is a traditional set up within the practice but they are very innovative in their approaches to care and clinical development.


Key Duties
  • Acute care for minor injuries and illnesses
  • Home visits for the GP team
  • Prescribing qualification would be welcomed and salary discussed further
  • Effectively using the triage system to provide on the day care
  • Clinical examination and assessment to make diagnosis
  • Multi-site working



Package and Benefits
  • Full time position - 37.5 hours Monday to Friday
  • £38,000 - £42,000 depending on experience

  • Registered Paramedic on the HCPC
