Advanced Nurse Practitioner Job, Boston

An excellent opportunity for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in the Boston area of Lincolnshire.

A well performing practice in Boston are now seeking an Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Nurse Practitioner to assist with their minor ailments clinics. With over 10,000 patients and a consistently Good CQC rating, this practice offers value to the community.

You will be supported by a skilled team of clinicians and non-clinical staff. The clinical team is led by GP Partners and the strong nursing team includes specialist nurses. There is a large management, administration and reception team to ensure the smooth running of the practice.

This is a training practice that may have development opportunities in future, they are however requiring some level of experience in order to be suitable for this role. This includes experience/training in minor injuries and illnesses, and holding the prescribing qualification. A knowledge of chronic conditions would also be beneficial for this role.

Key Duties

• Prescribing and advising for medication
• Acute presentations of minor illnesses and injuries
• Routine follow ups for ongoing conditions
• Attend clinical meetings

Package and Benefits

• Up to 37.5 hours available
• £46,000 - £52,000 depending on experience and skills

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• NMC registered nurse in the UK
• Non medical or Independent prescriber
• Experience of minor injuries and illnesses
• Experience within primary care
