A rare opportunity has arisen for an interim Business Manager within a well-regarded practice in central Leeds.

Located in central Leeds, this role is to cover 3 to 6 months as the interim Business Manager. You will be directly supporting the Director of Service Delivery to maintain the excellent growth and financial performance of this site. Rated as "good" in its CQC inspections, you will Not be walking into a "turnaround" situation. The practice simply requires day-to-day running of its staff and operations.

There is a generous salary offered for this role, which is in return for your commitment and experience in running a large, patient-centred practice. You will be working autonomously and therefore must have recent, relevant experience within a primary care setting, preferably in a practice with over 10,000 patients.

Key Duties
  • Day to day running of the practice, putting patients first
  • Supporting the Director of Service Delivery
  • Supported by the admin, reception, and HR team
  • Focus on efficiency, performance, optimisation of the practice
  • Responsible for audits and data reporting with a knowledge of CQC standards


Package and Benefits

A generous package is offered by the role:
  • £40,000 - £60,000 depending on experience
  • Interim for 3 to 6 months
  • 40 hours per week, flexible working options can be considered
  • NHS Pension and 5 weeks holiday entitlement
  • Subsidised parking


Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements
  • Experience of managing the staff and operations within a primary care setting
  • Ideally, experienced in a practice with over 10,000 patients and multiple GPs
  • Skilled in audit, recruitment, performance reviews, data reporting and liaising with external bodies
  • Knowledge of CQC
