Superb opportunity for a Salaried GP to work a flexible 1-4 day week, making a real difference to an elderly patient base, whilst keeping one or two days a week in "normal" GP practice.
This is a unique position that would suit a GP who has a special interest in the elderly and would like to specifically look at elderly demographics who are looking to get back into the community after being in secondary care. Do this as part of your current role or work with our client as a standard GP where they can offer you one or two days of standard GP work in an excellent standard GP practice, whilst running sessions within this unique setting.
This role will take the right personality who has a real passion for helping senior patients who are looking to return back home from secondary services. This is a GP role but just in a slightly different setting helping this specific demographic so it would suit a GP with an interest in this area who also wants to keep a toe in standard salaried GP work whilst having the flexibility to start earlier or later on days and as an option, over the weekend (weekends are completely optional).
Work alongside a solid multi-disciplinary team that consists of: Service Manager, Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, GPs, Social workers, Therapy assistants, Assistant practitioners, Healthcare assistants. The team will all work together, with the patient and the patients' family, to plan safe discharges back into the community.
