Salaried GP or GP Partner, Wakefield area

• The surgery has put a lot of work into developing a triage system designed to reduce unnecessary appointments to GPs, thereby freeing up time to spend on more relevant patients.
• There is a focus on ensuring the workload and calls / visits are thoroughly filtered so GPs focus on those patients who exclusively require their attention.
• Highly organised, one stop surgery with a growing list, offering an ever-increasing breadth of patient services meaning exciting opportunities for the future and long-term stability.
• Expertise in Diabetes, Cancer, Respiratory Diseases and Mental Health Management
• A highly regarded surgery; frequently approached to pilot initiatives across many specialisms.
• The team are absolutely superb; there is a diverse range of interests, skilled colleagues and a first-rate Practice Manager and Assistant Practice Manager at the helm.

Salary

• PMS practice - contract in line with BMA contract.
• £9,000 - £10,000 per session + indemnity.

Location

• Pontefract area.

Your role

• 4-10 sessions per week
• This is a highly organised practice in terms of workflow
• 12 appointments in the morning & 9 in the afternoon on non-duty days
• Low call out numbers
• The practice is committed to developing their team members
• NO weekend or extended hours or OOH
• Newly Qualified GPs considered (potential partnership)
