Advanced Nurse Practitioner Role, Barnsley

Summary

An opportunity has arisen with the South Yorkshire area for an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join an established Practice. This is a brilliant opportunity to work within an organisation who really care about their local community.



Key Information

The practice is looking for an ANP to join their clinical team due to retirement. You will work alongside a team of GP's and Nurses. The Practice use System One as their computer system and have circa 3600 patients at this site. The practice is looking for a traditional ANP where the ANP will work two sessions per day, seeing 12 patients per session with 15 minute consultation times. The ANP will also be running minor illnesses and on the day clinics. There will also be some requirement for home visits.

Responsibilities would include working autonomously to asses, diagnose, treat, and refer patients when appropriate; the successful candidate will hold the Masters or Post Graduate Diploma. They will bring with them years of primary care experience and will be able to prescribe autonomously.
