This is a GP owned medical group with 3 practices across the Newcastle area on the East coast of Australia, 2 hours drive north of Sydney.

The group have 8 GPs in total with a team of nursing, allied health and pathology on site. The group has a very high retention rate of staff and haven’t lost any doctors in the 4 years since being established.

  • 60 – 65% of billings
  • Minimum guarantee for 3 months
  • High earning potential – average GP earns $300 - $350k
  • Start date as soon as paperwork complete
  • Monday – Friday 8.30 – 5pm
  • Weekends in rotation

This is a family focused group, highly ethical and patient cantered. The practices are mixed billing, bulk billing pensioners and children. There is a mixed patient population, seeing the very young to the elderly.

It is a paperless practice with an app booking system to allow patients to book appointments with minimal hassle.

The Location

There are 3 practices however they are looking for a GP to work in either the Maryland or Wallsend centre. Both are close to central Newcastle and you’ll have the option to work in either or both dependant on your preferences. They are only a few minutes’ drive apart.

Newcastle is the 7th largest city in Australia just a couple of hours drive north of Sydney on the East Coast. It is in the Hunter region with stunning coastline.

The area offers beaches, Hunter Valley wineries, rainforest and plenty of outdoor activities for the whole family.
