About the Health Centre

The Brighton Station Health Centre is a NHS funded service operated by Care UK, one of the largest independent providers of health and social care in Britain. The centre operates 3 distinct services comprising of a Walk In Centre, GP Practice and Sexual Health clinic, we are a busy centre so you can be sure to have variety in your working day. The centre offers a range of comprehensive services to registered patients and walk-in services for the treatment of minor injuries and ailments, without having to make an appointment.

The centre is open every day from 8am to 8pm, including all bank holidays and is set in the exciting city of Brighton just outside Brighton Station for an easy commute. If you are travelling from further afar, for example; just 10 minutes from Burgess Hill, 20 minutes from Haywards Heath or a 50 minute journey from Victoria can take you right to the door step.

About the Job

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our established & friendly team at the Brighton Station Health Centre. 

The successful applicant will receive support, training opportunities and clinical supervision to be able to develop their career whilst working in a fast paced and challenging environment.

The job operates on a 7 day rotating rota working 11.5hr shifts which ensures you know well in advance your days on and off enabling you to plan your life around your work.

Salary up to £50,000 DOE

Key Responsibilities

As an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner, you’ll be vital to the health centres success, assessing, diagnosing, treating and discharging patients autonomously every day. You’ll be responsible for providing an excellent standard of patient care and health promotion to the general public accessing urgent care services

Skills & Experience

To be successful in the job, you will bring:

•Nurse-led management of acute undifferentiated and undiagnosed conditions includes minor illness, minor ailments and injuries
•Recent primary and urgent care experience
•Recent experience of face-to-face patient care
•Experience of patient contact services and / or primary care nursing

Qualifications

•RGN
•Degree level / Postgraduate level ANP/Specialist qualification or equivalent
•Evidence of recent study
•Recognised Nurse Prescribing Qualification 
•Postgraduate, e.g. ENB 998 Teaching /Mentorship course
