Salaried GP, Sunderland

Background -

An opportunity to work for a semi-rural growing, friendly practice. The surgery is high-achieving, and is looking for a new Salaried GP - there is partnership potential in the medium-term. The Partners continue to invest in the Practice and recently added an extension to operate over three floors in a modern and spacious environment. The non-clinical team are well trained to ensure you only receive the most relevant paper work. Your day will be structured and workload manageable.


Salary - £82,000 FTE + Indemnity insurance paid + 6 weeks annual leave + 6 days study leave


Location - Sunderland area


The surgery -

• Established GP practice
• Highly-regarded surgery
• Medium-sized practice
• Well-managed practice
• High QOF
• Excellent GP & staff retention

Your role -

• 4 - 6 sessions inclusive of an admin session
• 5 hour clinical sessions
• An average of 1-2 home visit per day
• Using Emis Web Clinical system
• Clinical progression encouraged - practice would be keen to support a GP trainer
• Newly-qualified GP welcome
