The Location

Blenheim is a town in the heart of the wine-growing region of Marlborough, and one of the sunniest towns in New Zealand.

Blenheim has a population of just over 30,000. The climate is excellent, sheltered from the rain which can hit the western south island. Temperatures are warm and dry in the summer, with temperatures reaching 30degrees, with cooler, crisp winters.

The area offers a great lifestyle with a range of cafés, restaurants, bars, shops, artisan markets and wineries. The wider Marlborough region has a wide range of leisure activities, home to scenic sounds, award wining wines and great cycling and walking tracks.

Blenheim is only an hour’s drive from nearby Nelson, the home of Nelson hospital and District Health Board. There is a regular ferry which goes from nearby Picton to New Zealand’s capital, Wellington is just over 3 hours.
