GMS Contract Opportunity


We are looking for visionary, forward thinking and innovative General Practitioners to take over the General Medical Services Contract in Criccieth, part of the Dwyfor Health Cluster and within the Gwynedd, North Meirionnydd Locality. The Contract will be available from 1st October 2018.

Criccieth is a historic seaside town in North Wales, close to the edge of the Snowdonia National Park. The town is close to Pwllheli, Porthmadog, Caernarfon and Portmeirion.  Local attractions include the ruins of Criccieth castle with extensive views over the town and countryside.

This is a dispensing practice, which provides all essential, additional, and a range of enhanced, General Medical Services.

Working with other Health and Social Care partners, you will develop and provide collaborative and innovative solutions to a diverse range of opportunities presented in the immediate locality and wider community.

You will work with the existing, experienced and dedicated Practice team who will transfer to the new Contract holders under TUPE regulations

List Size 3,783 patients


Please note that for governance reasons, this contract will not be offered to a sole practitioner.  The LHB would wish to see a minimum GP commitment of the equivalent of two whole time GPs.
