Greenbrook Healthcare is the leading provider of NHS Urgent Care Centres across London and the Home Counties. We are looking to appoint a Lead General Practitioner to our clinical leadership team at Princess Royal University Hospital Urgent Care Centre.
Managing a team of salaried and bank GPs, you will work closely with the Service Manager and Lead Nurse with responsibility for managing, organising and promoting the needs of the service.
We provide a comprehensive induction programme for all new clinical leads and you will receive regular mentoring from our Clinical Director for SE London to ensure that you are well supported in your role.
Your managerial duties will include:
Providing professional leadership to the UCC team offering advice, direction and support
The recruitment, induction and appraisal of doctors Investigating incidents and complaints, then developing actions and sharing learning
Acting as Safeguarding Lead for the UCC (similar to a GP practice SG lead and supported by Greenbrook’s Safeguarding Lead)
Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with hospital clinicians
Developing and maintaining patient pathways within the UCC, community services, the ED and hospital specialties
Participating in regular governance and operational meetings with the UCC leadership team, hospital and CCG colleagues.
