Consultant Psychiatrist - RAF Brize Norton
A locum is required to undertake clinical sessions for the Department of Community Mental Health (DCMH), carrying out fresh case assessments and reviews of all service personnel referred to the DCMH. This will include liaison with referrers and line management as required to facilitate the clinical and occupational management of the patient. Occupational recommendations and the supervision of clinical activity in a multi-disciplinary team should be expected as well as assisting educational supervisors. Out of Hours telephone advice may be required.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
Must hold a CCT in General Adult Psychiatry or a CCT from an EU, EEA or other country that has allowed entry on to the specialist register of the GMC as a specialist in General Adult Psychiatry and must have a current, satisfactory in date annual appraisal. Complet
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
Previous Ministry of Defence (MOD) experience as a Consultant Psychiatrist.
A qualification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
A qualification in management of addictions, particularly alcohol.
