We're looking for an experienced GP who is looking to migrate to NZ and settle in our small and friendly community. NZ is a fabulous place to live and while the South Wairarapa is a rural location, we are just one hour from Wellington, the capital of NZ with lovely small surrounding communities in Greytown & Martinborough.

We are a small family General Practice, owned and operated by Dr Harsha Dias and his wife Aruni Dias, a Chartered Accountant. We have 5,000 enrolled patients and 5 GPs. We offer great work/life balance at a well-organized, supportive general practice. Our practice is located in Featherston, South Wairarapa, only one hour from Wellington and lovely small surrounding communities in Greytown & Martinborough.

JOB OVERVIEW
We're looking for an experienced GP (eligibility for NZ Medical Council is a pre-requisite) to join our practice of 5 GPs and 5,000 patients. Hours of work are Monday- Thursday 8.30pm -5pm (Fridays off for 3 day weekend). You will be seeing 18-20 booked patient appointments per day plus time for paperwork.
Approx. two weekends per quarter on call based in Masterton (includes one and a half days in practice seeing patients). 

Salary package includes:
•    Base salary of $NZD 200,000

•    Long service bonus of $NZD50,000 after 5 years of continued service
•    Four weeks paid annual leave
•    3 days Training/Study leave
•    Reimbursement of relocation/travel up to $NZD5,000

Pre-requisites include:
•    Experience in a rural practice or strong general practice experience is preferred.
