As Care UK continues to grow, so do our career opportunities…

At Care UK we are looking to recruit dynamic GP’s to join our growing team in the flagship Urgent Care Centre, Central Middlesex Hospital. The UCC runs a 24 hour, 7 days a week service, with an enthusiastic team of GPs, Advanced Nurse practitioners, Paramedic practitioners, HCAs and reception staff providing emergency treatment to patients.

As a member of the Multi-Disciplinary Team, the General Practitioner will provide clinical assessment and diagnosis to patient’s requirements including minor injuries, illness and fractures. Brent UCC is one of the first stand-alone Urgent Care Centres of its kind, and offers the exciting opportunity for all involved to be a part of this innovative dynamic ever evolving service.

It doesn’t end there; you will have a chance to become actively involved in audit, teaching and training as well as helping us to adapt the service to the ever-changing needs of the population. Educational meetings are held twice a month in conjunction with our sister UCC in Ealing – this provides many opportunities to hear from in-house and external speakers and manage your CPD requirements for appraisal/revalidation.

At Care UK we see things differently. We work hard to ensure that you are part of the Care UK family.
This includes many further opportunity’s to incorporate and develop further into our other services, including out of hours and telephone triage

In this environment we appreciate flexibility around working hours but we are also willing to accommodate requests. We are happy to accept both full and part time applicants (40 and 20 hours per week respectively) and offer £100,000k per year full time with payment of MDU/MPS subscription included. We have plenty of opportunities for extra shifts and overtime. Annual leave entitlement is 25 days per year plus bank holidays. Study leave entitlement is 5 days per year pro-rata, with the potential for funding on application.

To be successful in this role you will have MRCGP and ideally previous A+E/OOH experience. Minor injury management and radiology interpretation are desirable but can be arranged through courses and peer support for the right candidate. This position will responsible to the Lead GPs and the Service Managers.
